Weekend Writing: Literary Holiday Greeting Cards

This might be hard to believe, but it's officially the 2020 holiday season. Whether you're celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa, the next few weeks are going to be busy with holiday festivities. We'll be baking delicious food, decorating our homes, participating in family traditions, and more. While this year's holiday season might be a little different (or, a lot different) due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there are some traditions that will still be the same.

One of those is sending holiday greeting cards to our loved ones. In fact, this is perhaps one of the most important traditions to keep this year. It's special to send greeting cards to family and friends. There's nothing quite like opening your mailbox and seeing a holiday greeting card inside. You know that your family and friends care about you and want you to have a happy holiday season.

It's important to let your loved ones know that you're thinking of them this year. We have experienced so much stress, frustration, emotional pain, loss, isolation, etc. We need to send a greeting card as a form of a hug this season.

For the past few years, I have created a selection of greeting cards inspired by literary quotes. I have returned with a new set of cards for this year's holiday. Some of the best writing is about the winter season and the holidays. If you need some inspiration for this year's holiday greeting cards, please enjoy these free cards that you can download and share with your loved ones. They will appreciate the card, no matter what.

Hopefully, you will have fun spreading holiday cheer with these greeting cards, or whichever ones you decide to send to your loved ones. Remember that this holiday season is the time to cherish memories with your family and friends. Celebrate (even if it's virtually) and love each other during the most joyful time of the year.

Happy holidays!
