Inspire More Family Gatherings

The holiday season is upon us. In two weeks, we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving and then we'll be well on our way to celebrating Christmas (or Hanukkah and Kwanzaa). It doesn't seem possible that it's already that time of the year, but I'm not complaining.

I love the holiday season. Everything seems more...magical. While we might be busy with family gatherings and social parties, life also seems to "slow down" and remind us of what's most important in life: spending time with your loved ones.

I have a simple blog post today because this is all I have to say on the subject: make time for your family and friends this season. Get together for game nights, singing carols, baking cookies, watching your favorite Christmas movie, decorating the house for the holidays, eat delicious food, and make memories.

Spend time together and remember the reason for the season: to inspire peace, hope, and faith with the people who matter most in your life. As you plan your holiday schedules, don't rush through your family gatherings. After all, you only have one family. Don't neglect them.

Make memories that will last a lifetime this holiday season.
