Inspire Appreciation for Fall 2018
Fall doesn't officially begin until this upcoming Saturday, September 22, but I think the majority of my friends and colleagues are already ready for it. So many say, "I can't wait for sweater weather." To be honest, I'm loving that the weather is still warm and content. I live in the Midwest, after all. The cold weather is coming. It'll get here eventually, and then it will stay here for a long time.
Let's enjoy this new season. While I love warm weather, I love everything about the fall, including the multiple fun activities you can participate in with your family and friends. This includes:

- Host a bonfire.
- Roast marshmallows and make s'mores over that bonfire.
- Watch the leaves change colors.
- Go on a hayride.
- Carve pumpkins.
- Jump into a pile of leaves you just raked.
- Sip hot apple cider.
- Go apple picking.
- Get lost in a corn maze.
- Play a game of two-hand touch football.
- Go for a hike.
- Get spooked in a haunted house.
- Make your kids (or your own) Halloween costume.
- Celebrate Oktoberfest.
- Tour a winery.
- Attend a fall festival.
- Wear your favorite jeans.
- Bring out your warm sweaters and blankets you tucked away in the back of your closet.
And so many more. There are so many activities that are perfect for the fall season, so why not enjoy this new season? The leaves are changing, which means life is changing. If you have children, the school season has started, which means you're probably busy juggling a hectic schedule.

Make sure you remember to plan special events this season. Make memories; they're so important. Life should never be too busy that you forget what is most important: spending time with the people you love and having amazing adventures.
Fall is coming, my friends. I hope you can learn to appreciate this new season, and the ones that will follow. 2018 is almost over. Can you believe it? Let's enjoy these last few months.
Have fun!
